Nicola Perkins is the Founder and Director of NSP HR Solutions.

With more than 25 years' HR experience in private and public sector organisations, Nicola is passionate about providing a high quality service delivering agile, commercial HR Solutions to ensure businesses achieve their next level goals. Nicola is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. 

Nicola's clients particularly value her personable, open style; her ability to rapidly gain the trust of teams she works with; and to quickly identify and implement solutions that align with the values, goals and cultures of the businesses she works with. The values of the NSP brand are ‘Nurture, Strengthen and Protect’ and this encapsulates the experience that NSP HR Solutions' clients enjoy.

Nicola has particular expertise in:

  • Improving business performance through efficient HR systems and processes 
  • Delivering practical solutions that align with businesses goals, values and culture.
  • Resolving work place conflict: handling difficult workplace situations with sensitivity and empathy
  • Managing restructuring, redundancy and handling employment issues relating to buying and selling a business
  • Building manager confidence and capability through strength based coaching 

In her early career, Nicola worked for a multi-national automotive systems supplier and was trained in Kaizen (lean manufacturing) and total quality management tools and techniques. She is logical and analytical and applies these skills to re-design HR processes and systems saving time and money for her clients. 

Nicola lives in South Wales. In her spare time, you'll find her walking on the beaches and cliffs of the beautiful Gower peninsula wth her Labrador and she is also an enthusiastic golfer.
